My old press always left grit in the bottom of my cup, but this one's mesh filter catches everything while still letting the full flavor of the beans come through. It's honestly the easiest way to brew a strong, clean pot for the whole morning.
I’ve had cheap presses before that leave grit in every cup, but this one’s mesh is so fine the coffee comes out clean and rich. The 8-cup size is perfect for my weekend mornings. It’s honestly the simplest way I’ve found to taste the beans without any fuss.
The plunger slides down smooth as butter, and the glass is thick enough that I don't worry about knocking it over. Eight cups is plenty for a lazy Sunday morning, and the coffee comes out clean, no grit at the bottom.
